The Beastmaster General

This snook has the Beastmaster General deep in his mouth.

This is a Beastmaster General.

This morning the tide was out and even though the wind was blowing hard, I headed out with my fly rod. In the shallow water this fly with it’s deer hair head sinks very slowly and holds well over the turtle grass. I was twitching it toward me in the dark when the first snook of the morning grabbed it. It was so dark I couldn’t see the fish, but could hear it every time it jumped.
