August 21, 2010 Leland Fishing Report

The storms that blew through the county last night still had people talking about them this morning. It was an impressive show. By morning the wind was down and lake calm, contrary to the forecast. All the boats that went out did good, catching between 6 and 12 kings.

Here is one fish-board of nine kings. With most being the large 4-year kind of fish.

The currents that move the temperature around out there are strong after so much wind pushing the water. This morning the thermocline started at 70 feet on the south half of the island and ended up at 140 by the time the boats came in.
