I’ve heard from several guys this weekend that the salmon fishing has been spotty around Leland and Glen Arbor. The best catches I’ve heard of are a couple fo seven-fish coolers and the worst some skunks. This morning a friend and I fished on the North Island and didn’t mark much and didn’t have a hit. We could have gone trout fishing after awhile and filled our cooler in a different location and I would have done that if this had been a charter, but we chose to hang out for a kings and talk about bird dogs and deer rifles instead.
